Youth Panellist - He/Him Ken

Ken's values

A group of young people sit around a table talking to each other. The person closest to the camera as the back to the camera and wears a dark red knitted jumper.

Why are you on the Youth Panel at YoungMinds?

I think queer visibility and mental health is important. I can offer a perspective of a young person working on their identity and provide a view from my background and current point in life as a university student.

Which of our values do you relate to most, and why do you think it’s an important value for us?

The value I relate the most to is: 'we celebrate what makes you, you'.

Understanding individual differences as something to be celebrated I believe is something amazing and core to YoungMinds. Through an appreciation of all the different aspects of people, we can learn how to approach different challenges.
