I think I can offer a diverse perspective to the Youth Panel as an autistic person of colour and I want to represent other young people in these groups!
The value I relate the most to is: 'celebrate what makes you, you'.
I think it’s so wonderful that everybody is so different and brings such a variety of traits, skills and passions to society. It’s important that YoungMinds celebrate the differences in all young people since the best person to be is yourself!

Our Youth Panel works with us for three years to help shape our future as a charity and achieve our mission. They talk about things like strategy, safeguarding, fundraising, organisational culture, risk management, data protection, brand and marketing.
Our current Youth Panel joined us in October 2023.
