Kim's Mud Run

Kim's Mud Run

Kim Heard didn’t just take on a Mud Run, in November she built one on her farm and got the whole community to take it on!

Kim raised more than £5,000 for YoungMinds with the mud run she built on her farm.

"The idea behind a fun mud run was that it was enjoyable, it involved many obstacles such as straw bales to climb over and muddy ponds to wade through…I wanted to create a fun day that people could enjoy but also get the message across of why I was doing it. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the event and would like to thank everyone who came and supported."

The reason I chose to support YoungMinds was in order to spread awareness and raise as much money as possible. Mental health is similar to physical health yet mental health seems to be more unknown.
Kim

"I do not believe that this should be accepted, I believe that we need this to change, people should not have to suffer in silence.

This is why YoungMinds is a great charity as it gives young people a chance to share how they are feeling and improve their mental state."

Thank You

We cannot thank Kim and everyone who took on her Mud Run enough for what you have done for our charity. You are amazing fundraisers! Thank You Kim!

A massive thank you to all our brilliant fundraisers.

Support Our Work

YoungMinds exists so that young people have the strongest possible voice in improving their mental health. We need your help to make sure that voice is heard.

The amount of times I’d tried to break out of this shell, talk about ‘I’m feeling a bit down’, ‘I’m feeling a bit scared’, I couldn’t do it. And now I can do it openly.
