Clark Burrell and Lewis Cleland

Clark and Lewis are taking the Three Peaks Challenge to the ultra level. Snowdon, Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis, and 420 miles on foot in between.

The UK Three Peaks by foot will be taken on over 1 week from 2nd April 2018. Averaging 60 miles per day, Clark and Lewis have been in training for months to attempt to break the current course record of 13 days 23 hours. And they are doing it all to raise awareness of children and young people’s mental health and raise £10,000 for YoungMinds!

Clark is a PE teacher at Crosshouse Primary School and has a passion for endurance running and inspiring young people to reach their potential. Also a PE teacher, Lewis is studying at the University of the West of Scotland in Ayr and is driven to work with young people to encourage physical activity and the benefits this brings.

With this challenge we hope to inspire young people to become more active and take on their own challenges.

Support Our Work

YoungMinds exists so that young people have the strongest possible voice in improving their mental health. We need your help to make sure that voice is heard.

The amount of times I’d tried to break out of this shell, talk about ‘I’m feeling a bit down’, ‘I’m feeling a bit scared’, I couldn’t do it. And now I can do it openly.
