Abbi Naylor

Outdoor enthusiast, Abbi Naylor, has set herself a personal challenge to take on 30 events in her 30th year in support of YoungMinds!

On 1st January 2018 Abbi completed the Box Hill Knacker Cracker, the toughest 10k in Britain, to start her momentous journey taking on the ‘thirty4thirty’ challenge.

Over the course of the year, Abbi will run countless miles, cycle across every terrain imaginable, climb and ski across mountains, swim in the dark, sail around an island, and travel as far as the Himalayas, all accumulating to 30 endurance events in her 30th year.

Take a look at her astonishing list of events here.

We asked Abbi why she chose to support YoungMinds on her biggest adventure yet:

I am raising money for YoungMinds as it is a charity very close to my heart. After suffering from mental health issues as a teenager and in adult life it has spurred me on to bring awareness to the help and support that is available to people in need.

"Without the help that I and my mum received when I was younger, I would not be the person I have become today. The money that is being donated as a result of my challenges will make a huge difference to the lives and minds of young people and their families who are currently suffering in silence”.

Thank You

The challenge that Abbi is undertaking is utterly amazing and we cannot thank her enough for what she is doing for our charity and young people’s mental health.

Support Our Work

YoungMinds exists so that young people have the strongest possible voice in improving their mental health. We need your help to make sure that voice is heard.

The amount of times I’d tried to break out of this shell, talk about ‘I’m feeling a bit down’, ‘I’m feeling a bit scared’, I couldn’t do it. And now I can do it openly.
