I’m interested in understanding how charities like YoungMinds work internally, and want to contribute to having different perspectives represented in conversations around young people’s mental health on a larger scale.
The value I relate the most to is: 'we're not afraid to speak up for what's right'.
Everyone affected deserves to have a voice in conversations about mental health, so I think it’s really important for YoungMinds to support and echo people who might not otherwise be heard.

I switch off by going rock climbing, looking after my pets or listening to music.
Our Youth Panel works with us for three years to help shape our future as a charity and achieve our mission. They talk about things like strategy, safeguarding, fundraising, organisational culture, risk management, data protection, brand and marketing.
Our current Youth Panel joined us in October 2023.
