Whether it's games, baking, crafting, quizzing, showing off your musical skills or just having a chat, why not take it to the next level and stream to support YoungMinds?
By streaming for us, you can help to create a world where all young people get the support they need for their mental health when they need it.

You can use some of our ideas below to get you started, or email the team at fundraising@youngminds.org.uk if you need some help planning your stream.
See how fast you can finish a game. You could even set yourself a time limit for how quickly you want to complete it (maybe you could try and break a world record).
Make the game feel more realistic by creating certain rules. For example, you may decide you can't use bamboo while playing Minecraft.
Stream for a certain amount of time. For longer challenges, make sure to take regular breaks to look after yourself.
Once you've decided on your stream, it's time to set up your fundraising page.
We recommend using Tiltify for the best streaming and fundraising experience. But if you prefer, you can fundraise on JustGiving.
If you're fundraising on a different platform, send us an email to let us know as we'd love to send you a free YoungMinds t-shirt to wear during your stream.
I hosted a 12 hour charity stream for YoungMinds and we all shared why mental health was so important to us. We did some paintings, some gaming and just some chatting. I met some amazing people!
Tiltify is a fundraising platform that YoungMinds work with to make streaming challenges as easy as possible for our fundraisers. It's a platform created with streamers in mind and has lots of tools you can use to boost your fundraising.
Tiltify has lots of tools that you can use to boost your fundraising:
Milestones
Adding fundraising milestones, like a 50% of your target milestone, to your Tiltify page can help encourage people to donate to help you reach your next goal.

Polls
These allow your donors to take power into their (collective) hands and cast their vote on whatever question you post to them by donating to your fundraiser. This could be as simple as asking what the best ice cream flavour is, to asking what what colour you should dye your hair.

Rewards
Offering rewards to those who donate is a great way to encourage donations. These can be virtual rewards or product rewards, and could include things like a shout out on a livestream.
Absolutely! Streaming isn't just about gaming - you can stream your hobbies, like crafts or baking, host a social activity like a virtual quiz, or simply livestream having a chat to your audience.
Under 16s can take part with parental permission. Email fundraising@youngminds.org.uk for more information.
We send all our fundraisers a YoungMinds t-shirt for free to help you raise awareness about young people's mental health. We'll be in touch once you've set up your fundraising page to send this to you. If your event date is very soon, please email fundraising@youngminds.org.uk to let us know.
As a young person's mental health charity, we ask that you please consider the content of whatever game you choose to stream to fundraise for us. For example, consider if your content may be triggering for those with a mental health problem.
As an organisation, YoungMinds are committed to upholding our Anti-racism, Justice, Equity and Inclusion (AJEDI) principles, and ask that our supporters do not promote content that is against this or content that promotes violence, sexual content or negative portrayals of mental health.
If at any time you have concerns over the content of a stream in aid of YoungMinds, please contact us by emailing fundraising@youngminds.org.uk.
Absolutely! Inviting others to be involved is a great idea. Find out more about how to set up a fundraising team on Tiltify or JustGiving.
Unfortunately, we are unable to promote your stream on social media due to our content being focused on raising awareness of the issues facing young people and offering advice and support.
However, please do tag @youngmindsuk in your posts and we'll be happy to like and comment to show support.
Please seek support if streaming/gaming is having a negative effect on you. We also have information in our guide to gaming and mental health.
We often hear about the negative aspects of gaming, but there can be positive aspects to it too. And people are increasingly using streaming and gaming as a cause for good, and to fundraise for charities.

We have resources on our website about looking after your mental health on social media. The UK Safer Internet Centre and Childline also have resources about saying safe online for young people.
We're here to help and be your biggest cheerleaders throughout your streaming and fundraising.
