I am fundraising to raise awareness of mental health in young people and the lack of help open to them and parents.
We fundraise for YoungMinds and partake in as many fundraising events as we can for all the charities close to our hearts to raise awareness.

I hosted a Freemasons ball – a black tie event with a three course meal and entertainment, raffle, fundraising games and an auction.
A total of £2581 was raised on the evening and we divided the funds between YoungMinds and another worthy cause, donating £1500 to YoungMinds. It was a wonderful evening and I was proud to raise the issue of mental health in young people.
Why is mental health important to you?
We couldn’t get help for our daughter’s anxiety condition which went on for years and eventually on becoming so unwell she finally got some through the NHS but this was aimed at youngsters far worse off than her.
I found there is very little support for youngsters suffering mental health issues and the more people I talk to the more I realise children are suffering and I only wish they could access help.
