We’re delighted to announce that our Parents Helpline has been awarded the Helplines Quality Standard for 2017-2020!
What is the Helplines Standard?
The Helplines Standard is the nationally recognised quality standard defining and accrediting best practice in helplines, which provide information, support and advice over the phone, by email, instant messaging and web forums. The Standard identifies the ways in which an organisation delivers a helpline service and ensures it is consistent, effective and relevant to the needs of callers.
Who is the accrediting organisation?
Helplines Partnership (HLP) is the membership body for organisations that provide helpline services in the UK, Republic of Ireland and internationally.
Why is it important?
Gaining the HLP kite mark means that the YoungMinds Parents Helpline has been recognised as one that gives a high quality service to callers.
The whole Parents Helpline team is enormously proud of achieving the Helplines Standard kite mark; equally important is the value we place on positive feedback from parents who have benefited from the Parents Helpline service.
