I’ve spent my marketing career in the charity and social impact sector, campaigning for change, from youth empowerment to homelessness and refugees, and more recently social work.
I’m really passionate about youth empowerment and mental health so I’m thrilled to share my professional and personal experiences to help the Directors and Board of Trustees make the best decisions to achieve YoungMinds' mission.
Which of our values do you relate to most, and why do you think it’s an important value for us?
The value I relate the most to is: 'we’re not afraid to speak up for what’s right.'.
Young people are growing up in an increasingly pressurising society, facing more challenges than ever before, yet most don’t have the voice or the platform to speak up for things that will affect their futures, because they’re too young to vote or ‘too young to know better’. From young people’s rights to mental health, YoungMinds knows what needs to change because young people tell them. If they raise their voices, so does YoungMinds.
