Charlotte is a training team leader, and a registered social worker with over 20 years’ experience of working with vulnerable children and those who care for them.

Charlotte Levene - Training and Development Team Leader

Charlotte is a training team leader, supervisor and trainer/consultant within the Training and DevelopmentTeam.  She is a registered social worker with over 20 years’ experience of working with vulnerable children and those who care for them.

In addition to being a senior social worker within a Local Authority, Charlotte has lead projects for The National Children’s Bureau and has worked in schools, other voluntary organisations and as an independent trainer for different private organisations. She has been delivering training for YoungMinds since 2011 and was the project lead of a 3-year national training programme focussing on mental health needs of Looked After Children.

Charlotte has designed and facilitated a wide range of training courses  including teenagers, technology and mental health, self harm, ADHD, resilience, risk and safeguarding, supporting vulnerable young people in looked after settings, supporting vulnerable young people in further education, supporting foster carers and residential workers.

Charlotte recently led a pupil engagement project in Newham Schools as part of the borough’s larger Academic Resilience project and is passionate about co-production and working closely with young people to ensure that their rights and needs are being met.
