Whose Crisis? A YoungMinds Study
A study on meeting the needs of children and young people with serious mental health problems.
This study, commissioned by YoungMinds, is based on telephone interviews with a wide range of professionals working with children and young people with mental health problems. The main sample included Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists working in community-based child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS), Social Services social work staff working within services for children and families and specialist education staff working within a selection of Local Education Authorities. To supplement these interviews, information was also gathered from a number of hospital and community pediatricians, pediatric nursing staff and staff responsible for Voluntary Sector projects working in this field.
