Young Voices Amplified
Find out how you can have your say on how mental health services are run by joining our digital network.
Make your voice heard with Young Voices Amplified
If you’re under 25 and you’ve accessed, tried to access or thought about accessing mental health support, whether through your school, a charity, CAMHS or any other services then we want to hear from you.
You'll be working with us to make sure the voices of children, young people and their families are being heard at every level of mental health delivery across the system.
Whether it’s raising awareness of mental health issues, giving your feedback on changes to mental health services or speaking about mental health at conferences or in the media, you’ll be a key part of driving change.
It starts with our digital network – Young Voices Amplified. Here, you’ll receive all the latest news, updates and opportunities to join us, including updates on how to:
- Train to become a YoungMinds Activist
- Become a Youth Participation Champion
- Become a Paid Youth Advisor
- Apply for other paid and voluntary participation roles with us
- Speak at conferences and in the media
- Join a closed Facebook group where you can co-create and feed back on digital campaigns and online resource
It's important to us that our networks include young people from different backgrounds and experiences - including young people from a wide range of cultures, ethnicities, sexualities and religions, all abilities and those who have experienced being in care or caring for a family member.
Many young people and parents we work with have experience of mental illness; we'll work with you to find the best ways to support your volunteering.
