Find out how you can give parents and carers of children and young people with mental health problems a voice and help to shape the future of mental health services in the UK.
Make your voice heard with Parents Voices Amplified
If you’re a parent or carer who’s supported a young person (up to the age of 25) who’s accessed, tried to access or thought about accessing mental health support, we want to hear from you.
We’re working to put parents’ voices at the heart of children and young people’s mental health services in the UK. When you join us, you’ll be part of a network of parents and carers speaking up about mental health, commenting and feeding back on services and helping to shape how we raise awareness about mental health issues in children and young people.
It starts with joining Parents Voices Amplified – our digital network where you’ll be able to keep up with the latest news, updates and opportunities to:
- Become a Parent Participation Champion
- Become a Paid Parent Advisor
- Apply for paid and voluntary participation roles with YoungMinds
- Speak at conferences and in the media
- Join a closed Facebook group that will be asked to co-create and feedback on digital campaigns and online resources
It's important to us that our networks include parents, fosters carers and adopters from different backgrounds and experiences - including parents from a wide range of cultures, ethnicities, sexualities and religions, and of all abilities.
