Give and Cake
Whether you choose a teatime natter with your nanna or a brunch with your friends – your support will help us keep our services going for young people, and the adults around them, when they need it most.
What is Give and Cake?
In the past few weeks, our worlds have turned upside down. Being in isolation has created new challenges, including being away from our friends and family.
This time is especially hard for young people and parents, and the work we do to help them with their mental health is needed now more than ever.
By taking part in Give And Cake, you’ll show the ones you love that you’re there for them, and by raising vital funds for YoungMinds, you can show young people that no matter how they’re feeling, we can find a way forward together.
To help you make the most of your catch-ups, we’ve included indulgent recipes, a quarantine quiz and conversation starters to focus your mind on anything but the news!
So, whether you choose a teatime natter with your nanna or a brunch with your friends – your support will help us keep our services going for young people, and the adults around them, when they need it most.

Your donations really make a difference…
A donation of £5 will help young people share their mental health experiences, which will reach thousands more young people to give them hope at this difficult time.
A donation of £10 ensures a Helpline Volunteer is on the end of the phone to provide information and support to distressed parents. They need our support more than ever.
A donation of £30 gives a parent or carer a 50-minute telephone call with a qualified mental health front line worker, who can provide clinical advice and guidance, even during the lockdown.
