I’m running for YoungMinds because I suffered so much stigma and discrimination. It can transform lives when we can accept we're all human. We're in it together. We all matter, we all have mental health. It starts with children and as a parent my daughter’s sadly were also affected by trauma. So that is why I aspire to speak up about mental health among young people.
Keep on running
Running helps my mind and body, I run to improve my own mental health. Slow and steady is my method. Having previous experience of running, I’m looking at pacing training runs with hill sprints. Also planning nutrition and to optimise recovery from longer runs. Meal planning works well combined with relaxation.
