Congratulations to our YoungMinds RideLondon 2017 cyclists
We'd like to say a huge thank you and congratulations to our RideLondon 2017 cyclists who took on the 100 mile challenge on Sun 30 July.
Over a dozen YoungMinds fundraisers completed the epic cycling event, the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100.
What is RideLondon?
Made famous at London 2012, the event is now one of the most famous road bike challenges in the world. Leaving the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park at dawn, our supporters cycled 100 miles through the capital and Surrey’s stunning countryside. Thousands of supporters lined the streets to celebrate and cheer on everyone who took part in this renowned challenge.
Putting in the training
Our YoungMinds cyclists put in months of training, through heat waves and pouring rain, to get ready for this event. At the same time, they have been fundraising for our charity and raising awareness of the vital importance of children and young people’s emotional wellbeing and mental health.
A big thanks
We want to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to all of our fundraisers in the RideLondon 2017 for their tremendous efforts. You can read their stories and thank them too by donating on their pages.
