September 2016 sees the launch of YoungMinds Open Access mental health training courses around the UK.
YoungMinds Open Access courses are for any professional working with children and young people who wants to understand more about mental health and problems and pressures the young people they work with are facing, as well as practical strategies they can implement in their practice.
Course topics include early years and mental health, Teens Turmoil and Transition, Resilience, self-harm and many more. All YoungMinds courses draw on:
- A comprehensive understanding of the latest research, the policy context and evidence based best practice.
- A range of effective tools and techniques endorsed by practitioners on the ground.
- Insights and perspectives from young people, who are experts by experience, about effective services.
Traditionally most of the courses have been run from our central London base with occasional dates in Leeds or Birmingham. We are now able to spread our wings across the UK and will also be running courses in Cardiff alongside additional dates in Leeds and Birmingham, thanks to our fantastic team of trainers located all over the UK.
In 2017 we will be exploring further locations in the North West of England and Scotland.
Places are a very affordable £195 + VAT and bookable directly from the YoungMinds website
