#HelloYellow

#HelloYellow is our annual big, bright and very yellow campaign to show young people that they are not alone with their mental health.

All across the country, schools, workplaces, clubs and community groups wear yellow as an act of solidarity, and raise money for YoungMinds at the same time. It's far more than just a fundraiser - it's a national moment where the country comes together to show love and support to young people who are struggling with their mental health, and it makes a massive difference.

Find out more about #HelloYellow

This year has seen our most successful #HelloYellow campaign ever, with thousands of schools continuing to be committed YoungMinds fundraisers.

One in four schools across the country took part and there was a real eagerness to participate in activities that support mental health as well as raise money.

Amazingly, the campaign had another target-busting year, raising over £550,000!

Our fundraisers

A huge thank you goes to all our fundraisers who help us make sure that no young person feels alone with their mental health. We couldn’t do it without you.

Here are just some of the brilliant things you’ve all done.

Fundraisers Tim and Emily Davies at a running event

Tim and Emily Davies

Tim and Emily completed the London Marathon 2022 in memory of their son/brother Toby, who would have been 22 this year. Their target was £22,000 which their fundraiser has surpassed by miles already! A huge thank you to Tim, Emily and everyone who has supported them. You’re amazing!

Maxine Langton

Maxine has raised over £20,000 so far in memory of her son Matthew. Among so many different events and fundraisers, Maxine ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon this year. A massive thank you and well done to Maxine for everything she has done to help support young people and their mental health in honour of Matthew. You truly are a superhero.

Alex D’Arbost

Alex has done some brilliant things to raise awareness and fundraise for YoungMinds. He’s even written his own book titled ‘Inner Thoughts Project’ and check out his incredible video about his Madrid Marathon. Thank you so much Alex!
